At CityLife Church, the Kids Ministry (aka "KidsMin") creates environments with kids ages 0-9 in mind. It's our goal to create safe, fun, meaningful, age-appropriate environments for children to enjoy & learn about Jesus on Sunday.

If you are coming for the first time, please register the student(s) using the link below.

Here's what to expect when visiting CityLife KidsMin for the first time:

First, a volunteer on the Welcome Team will greet you upon entering church and they can direct you to the designated KidsMin Check-in area. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system; it is an electronic check-in system for safety, and you will receive a tag that will enable only you to pick your child back up. After check-in, one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.

Little Lights (0-4 yrs) meet in a parent-child room

Salt Shakers (4-9 yrs) have a drop-off room to the left of the service area with two background checked volunteers always present.

After a few worship songs: You can check-in your child at the main children’s check-in in the hallway next to the sanctuary. Again, it is a really easy and safe process.

After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, you will receive a text message from our volunteers. We ask that you make your way to the KidsMin respective room immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.

Jessica was led to Christ as a child by another child who had heard the Gospel at VBS. God used the children’s ministry volunteers in her local church to teach her what it looked like to love and follow Jesus. She met her now-husband in Sunday school when she was 10 years old, where both their moms served as teachers. She is passionate about kids knowing the Word of God, boldly sharing their faith, and confidently living their lives for Christ.

She lives in tiny, beautiful Bayonne, NJ with her husband, Ajit, and their sweetest little son, Nivan. In addition to ministry, she loves embroidery and they spend their time staying connected with their folks back in India and the Middle East, exploring various cuisines and trying to keep up with their toddler’s adventures, activities and appetite.

Paul Manansala was born in Jersey City and grew up in both NJ & NY. He and his wife Hazel live here in Jersey City and are raising their two grade school kids, JT and Avie. Paul has professional training & experience working in IT, as well as in Pastoral ministry. He is passionate about creating meaningful opportunities & helpful resources for young families in Jersey City to experience Jesus in a personal way.
